The Upper House – Wedding Venue

The Upper House which is situated in Barlaston, Staffordshire will be host to a few weddings on the cards for this year and as such we decided to go and have a walk around to scope the venue out.

A little history from the venue.
The house was built in 1845 for Josiah Wedgwood’s grandson Francis but since this time it has undergone its transformation into the luxury character property it is today.

The Upper House is set amongst 10 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Staffordshire, so it has plenty of opportunities for good photographs around the grounds.

The conservatory area is ideal for any couple wanting a light and airy space, not only this, its a photographers dream with all this natural light.

Inside you will find this beautiful staircase lit by the single hanging light in the middle.

The property is set in a woodland location which means you have plenty of space to get away from the crowds for those intimate photos after the ceremony.

Keep an eye out for other Wedding Venue’s in the coming weeks.
