Average Wedding Costs

In 2012 the average wedding cost is said to be around £18,000. But as with everything depending upon your tastes this figure could rise. Wedding expectations are very subjective to couples planning their big day and you will find some will put more importance on certain parts of the wedding than others. Below is a breakdown of […]

Kerry - Pfffft! Blooming rip off that’s what wedding are. If you are careful and budget well, and DIY some things, you could get it down to half the price 🙂

Nicola & Josh - I’ve just added my whole wedding costs up and they come to £16945. We had saved for about 4 years and this includes everything you have listed above and a few more little extras. Our cake cost £600 but its a fancy 6 tier cake with extra cup cakes. it was a must hae after seeing it!

Dan - I think it isn’t fair. I had a problem recently where photo’s of my new born were being posted to facebook publicly by family. Not something I would do myself even so I didn’t like to find out others were doing it. Then to make matters worse, photo’s I’d posted were being saved to other peoples desktops. Nobody should have more photo’s than me of my baby.

Ovi - I have precious few dwdeing photos and I treasure them. They’re kept in my cedar chest and we take them out a couple of times a year. My kids have enjoyed them over the years. We’ve been married 36 years this November. I made small albums for myself from each of my children’s dwdeings. I keep those in my living room and will gladly share them at any opportunity. Thanks for visiting from SITS. Come back any time. You are always welcome.
